In 2018, I met a Harley-Davidson mechanical technician at a service center. We quickly became friends, and soon he began servicing my bikes at my doorstep. His on-demand, doorstep service saved me countless hours of booking appointments, navigating traffic, and waiting at service centers—a hassle every superbike owner knows all too well.
This convenience sparked an idea: what if we could transform this personalized service into a trusted brand offering exclusive doorstep superbike servicing? After brainstorming, we created Motocrafts—a name born out of necessity when “Motocraft” wasn’t available for registration. Our unique selling point? “Exclusive superbike service at your doorstep.”
Building the Motocrafts Identity
We wanted Motocrafts to stand for convenience, trustworthiness, and transparency. Here’s how the brand came to life:
Logo Design: I crafted custom typography with sharp cuts and dynamic angles to convey precision, speed, and motion. A vibrant red was chosen, inspired by iconic motor brands like Ferrari and Ducati, symbolizing passion, power, and performance.
Merchandise: To reinforce the brand’s presence, I designed caps and polo t-shirts featuring the logo. These were worn during customer visits, creating a professional impression while making the brand instantly recognizable.
Business Cards: Practicality met style with a matte black finish that minimized visible stains from greasy hands, making it both functional and visually appealing.
